The 3500 14th Street NW Tenant Association at Hubbard Place, organized in 2007, works in partnership with Urban Village Community Center Association and Somerset Development Company to educate, train, and to empower the residents of Hubbard Place and its community.

3500 14th St N.W., Tenant Association collaborates with UVCA to improve the quality of life for residents, create a healthier and more sustainable community, empower residents, encourage successful tenancies, and create a platform of opportunity and stability in the community.

Latin American Youth Center (LAYC)

The Latin American Youth Center is a network of wrap around services that offer workforce development training, education enhancement, advocacy, arts and media education, and social services counseling.

City Blossoms

This year, we have collaborated with City Blossoms and the Urban Village Community Center Association to build and develop a community garden.  City Blossoms works with our summer youth program and after school program to teach our young people about urban gardening and healthy eating.

Dance Institute of Washington (DIW)

The Dance Institute of Washington has collaborated with Hubbard Place to recruit young people for their community dance programs. DIW and Hubbard Place are also committed to further developing our collaboration to target older youth in areas of dance, fitness, self image, and nutrition.

Capital Area Food Bank

The Capital Area Food Bank supports our senior programs through monthly distributions of free food through their Brown Bag program for qualifying seniors.


DC Central Kitchen (DCCK)

DC Central Kitchen supports our youth and adult programs through the nutritious food they provide for our educational programs.

Capital Area Asset Builders (CAAB)

The Capital Area Asset Builders provide a series of workshops to teach adults participants about banking, budgeting, understanding and building credit, and credit rights.

Financial Literacy Foundation

The Financial Literacy Foundation provides a series of workshops that engage participants on issues of will be held weekly and will cover the following topics: goal setting/budgeting, banking, credit, IDAs, Stock Market Education.

Garden District

The Garden District has supported our Community Gardening efforts through the donation of seeds and seedlings in effort to support local gardens and health eating initiatives.
